Trinity College, Double Decker & Dinner in Dublin

Our first full day in Dublin.  We visited Trinity College and its famous exhibit on the Book of Kells.  Afterwards, per Lincoln's request, we took another double-decker bus ride (Hop On and Hop Off) through Dublin.  At the end of our day, we walked to Temple Bar and ate dinner at a local pub.

Trinity College -

We weren't allowed to take pictures in the Book of Kells exhibit, but we could take photos of the Long Room, which is a very long room housing multiple levels of ancient books on all sorts of topics.
The Trinity College exhibit (ala Disneyland) ends in the gift shop, where Lincoln was able to pick out a few keepsakes.

Taking a little break, Mark reads to Lincoln one of his new books on Irish Fairy Tales just bought at the gift shop:

Then, it's off to the double-decker bus!

Here are photos of Dublin's buildings, churches, and pubs:

We meet up later for dinner at Temple Bar - an area very popular for dining, drinking, live music, and other celebrative activities.  Oh look!  Mommy bought Lincoln a new cap like Poppa's!

So, off we walk to Temple Bar to eat at O'Shea's Pub & Restaurant:

Waiting for dinner to be served, Lincoln campaigns to win his mother's favor and promise of dessert afterwards:

Success!

Tomorrow, we train to Killarny!
