Mark is again leading a study abroad class in Europe entitled "From Mendel to Genomes." This year is a special trip because we will have Jana and Lincoln with us! From July 25th - August 6th, we will visit London, Cambridge, Dublin, Kilkenny, Waterford and various other Irish towns and locales. Lincoln wants to see castles and dinosaurs and ride trains - I think we'll be able to easily meet those goals!
After saying goodbye to J&L, we will then meet up with Mark's study abroad students in Vienna on August 8th. The class will be staying in dorms and attending their class at the University of Vienna, and will also travel to the Czech Republic for two "day" trips to Brno and Olomouc. On August 22nd, we will travel to Cambridge to stay for the last two weeks of this class at Clare College, one of the 31 colleges at Cambridge University.
